Can't wait as well. I may not be union yet, but it's awesome they'll be filming 2 towns over in Northampton while i'm at school at UMass Amherst.

I was an extra in the police station scene. Mel Gibson was clowning around during takes. He is very friendly. The food wads great and the P.A's very friendly.

Agreed with professional extra - we worked on 9/5 - really hot day with fall clothing on - and the pa's kept offering us water and made sure we were ok.

I worked yesterday 9/6 on a huge South Station scene. Same as 9/5- fall clothes in crazy humidity. The PA's were REALLY outstanding on this set! The director spoke to me and smiled every time he walked past me, he seemed very nice! Mel was there, and though I didn't talk with him he also seemed very professional and nice to everyone around him. Worked through the day, didn't break for lunch until we wrapped at 3:00 pm.

I worked as an extra twice on this, 1st time was Oct 16th at South Station. Huge crowd scene....Didnt even see Mel..

Worked on it again last Friday, much smaller...Behind the Hampton Inn on Mass Ave, fun day....

People agreeing to work and not showing up.

I was on a project yesterday (Mall Cop) which was a nice experience and worked with nice people. What amazed some people is that there were a few no-shows, what I had said to them is don't be too surprised because this happens more than you think. When that happens that screws a lot of people up first the production because they are expecting their numbers for that day, and people that actually wanted to work that day. So if you can't make it on that project for any reason please call the casting director the day prior so they can fill in your spot. It's the best thing you can do in that situation to still be good with the casting directors and the production.

Keep your political views home..

I was working on E.O.D just recently and here we are in holding for a few hours as usual and here we have someone preaching about which canadate we should choose. Now we all know which one we want to choose and that is our personal opinion, but do not tell us who to vote for. At one point one person yelled from across the room and told this guy to "end it" because this is "not the place for that", I totally agree. Keep that outside, we are here to work and have fun and no one needs that.

SAG Strike close to NOT happening :)

I am hearing this morning that since AFTRA is getting things done with Hollywood, it looks as if SAG might follow suit and prevent a strike. If this happens all systems go for the roll of films to continue in MASS on schedule.
