Today began filming on the Martin Scorsese film "ashcliffe" based on the novel Shutter Island. If you worked on this amazing film experience share your thoughts here on this post.

The man has arrived back to his Oscar winning state, to start filming Shutter Island. Reports indicate he and Leo arrived Wed. so cameras are set to roll in the next couple of weeks. Actually I just finished the book a few weeks ago and let me tell you guys something....simply an amazing story. If Marty can transform that book into his movie magic, then I see gold in his future. IF you have not picked the book up, do so it's by Dennis Lehaen and is a much different story than Gone Baby Gone and Mystic River by a mile!!! So get ready for the calls people because the Scorsese invasion has begun!! Awesome!
