If you ever wanted to work in the film business / entertainment business this is your time to a shine. From what was recently said from the MFO is that there are plenty of jobs and not that many people. So if you are a makeup artist, crew person, actor, etc. Or you wanted to change occupation find out where the jobs are. Most jobs posted for crew are listed on criegslist under film/tv or you can approach agencies that hire crew. There are many jobs when it comes to filming one single movie but when it comes to the projected 12 this year, there is plenty to go around. If you could care less about acting and want to work behind the camera a good way to start is becoming a production assistant. Sure it is a little bit of a thankless job but it will keep giving you work and you can elevate yourself to higher levels. To those who think PA's don't like there job..well some do and some don't. The ones that do will tell you that they work most of the shoot and are looking for a higher position. For example a 2nd assistant director makes roughly $2000 a week, hard work but great money.
